Don't Gods hear them? Series 2 - The Children of Syria

As the bombings in Syria have risen to a huge extent, its the children who are always the worst affected. A childhood lost amidst the shattered concrete and blood spattered roads. It is depressing to write about them and view videos featuring their suffering. After the recent suicide bombing, Jordan has declared its border with Syria to be a closed miliatry zone. They have also denied setting up of refugee camps.

The video that caught my eye lately was heart touching. These kids need to be saved. But how?

DiCaprio finally grabs the oscar!!!

Its been six nominations since the start of his career in the film industry and its a glorious moment when he gets what he deserved. If he lost the Oscars this time, we all would have been enraged. God himself would have been furious!

Either be the reason, he finally held the golden statuette in pride! He totally deserves it! I hope all his admirers are happy after a long time in him winning the academy award! My question is..doesn't he deserve more?

Fake News: Indian Women! Beware!

Section 233 as in "The Indian Penal Code" states the following:

233. Making or selling instrument for counterfeiting coin.

--> Whoever makes or mends, or performs any part of the process of making or mending, or buys, sells or disposes of, any die or instrument, for the purpose of being used, or knowing or having reason to believe that it is intended to be used, for the purpose of counterfeiting coin, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine.

So please do not let yourself kill others depending on these fake news that have been circulating throughout social networking sites!

Hurray! India develops vaccine for Zika virus!

Finally India finds an answer to Zika infections! Obviously Latin America and other regions have been searching for a cure since the first outbreak and this has been the first vaccine - ZikaVac.

Bharat Biotech has always been an innovative healthcare unit with affordable vaccines and medicines developed for almost all kinds of diseases. The new vaccine has two candidates which are believed to be equally effective. They have also filed for global patent for both the candidates. I hope this vaccine will do good to the humanity as soon as possible. Stay blessed.

Zika - the explosive virus

Disease, be it contagious or not, always creates a fear in our minds. The new virus that is currently affecting Latin America has been causing many birth malformations and is basically spread through the 'Aedes' mosquito bite from an infected body to a healthy one. It is also noted that pregnant women can transfer the infection to their children which has resulted in cases of microcephaly (abnormally small head).

                                       

Major symptoms include mild fever, muscle cramps, rashes and conjunctivitis. However the disease is not deadly.

                                         

The World Health Organisation had organised an emergency committee to handle the situation. The biggest threat is that it has no vaccines or medicines to prevent or overcome the disease. Some scientists have come up with the theory that vaccines for chikunguniya can be used as a base to develop medicines for the Zika infection.

Kalpana: The flame of laughter fades away

The attitude on her face, the affirmative and logical opinion she had on every situation, the jokes she cracked off screen..
All these have made her a favourite artist for all generations.
Let it be her skills at acting or comedy, she has been a polished and well mannered person throughout her life. I once had a personal experience with her at a marriage function where she seemed to be very amusing and engaging through the few words she spoke to me.



The nation and the state has always acknowledged her talents through national and state awards. Completing over 300 films in many languages, her last malayalm film was 'Charlie' starring Dulquer and Parvati. The same film had Kalpana suicide at the end of it. How mysteriously fate unwinds! Reports say that it might be a heart attack, eventhough not confirmed.

Let her soul rest in peace.
